Rampant, unchecked construction is rapidly turning our beloved city into an unlivable concrete jungle, driving residents mad and slowly crushing the unique charm that once defined Nicosia.

A City Under Siege

Everywhere you look, it's the same story: cranes looming over the skyline, dust clouds swirling in the air, and the incessant drone of jackhammers that seems to penetrate every wall and window. Historic neighbourhoods are being swallowed whole by towering apartment blocks, often devoid of character and seemingly designed without any consideration for the existing urban fabric.

While development is undoubtedly necessary for a thriving city, the current situation feels more like a land grab than carefully planned progress. We're seeing green spaces disappear at an alarming rate, replaced by more concrete and glass. The impact on the environment, not to mention our collective sanity, is devastating.
